I was recently tagged by my friend David at YouTube to go out and get a person to register to vote. Well, I did more than that. I got 4 people to register, and educated them in the process.
Do you realize that over 3 Billion dollars is spent on presidential campaigns? Can you imagine how many pairs of Juicy Couture shoes you can buy with that? Like 8 million or something. I don’t even think they make that many different styles.
I think that instead of spending 3 billion on TV ads, candidates should pool all the money together and give voters a rebate -- like a “voterbate” if they show up to vote. I don’t know how much it would be. But it’d be a lot more money for me to go shopping and stay on the campaign trail.
You need to register to vote. If you haven’t yet, visit my friends at DeclareYourself.org.
They’ve made it super easy and super cool to register to vote.
Note to self: We need to register to vote and vote so that our
voice is heard, and we can reform the process.
